AVDefender 2011 Virus: Remove It Now



Another phony Windows system scanning and virus detection program has started to infect computers worldwide and modified in March 2011. This new form of malware is known as AVDefender 2011, or AV Defender 2011.


The AVDefender 2011 virus is bogus software that easily tricks users with its well designed program appeal. It appears to be complete anti-virus software that has the ability to detect and remove several different viruses, spyware and malware; although in reality it does not scan or remove anything. If your computer has been infected by AVDefender 2011, you might be wondering how to remove the AVDefender 2011 virus. There are ways to manually remove it from your system.

AVDefender 2011 will display bogus error messages indicating that the computer system files are corrupt or that several instances of viruses and spyware have been found.



AVDefender 2011 is a spinoff of FakePowav, a group of programs that display a fake a scan the PC users’ computer for malware, then alerts the user with fake messages of finding viruses, spyware and more. The programs then inform the PC user that they must purchase their program in order to remove the “viruses”.


Like FakePowav,AVDefender 2011 will display bogus error messages indicating that the computer system files are corrupt or that several instances of viruses and spyware have been found. These warnings are all deceptive and should be ignored, no matter how convincing they seem to be.
