Metropolitan Police Virus – Removal Instructions

There is a cyber scam circulating throughout the internet known as the Metropolitan Police Virus. This virus accuses you of conducting illegal activity and that you must pay a fine using Ukash or Paysafecard. This is a cyber scam and is not from the Metropolitan Police. The notice will appear on your computer screen stating that it is from the Metropolitan Police. It will say that you have conducted illegal activity including illegal pornography, child pornography as well as illegal videos. It will also state your ip address and that your computer is locked.

You must always remember that this is a bogus notice. Your computer is locked by a virus, the Metropolitan Police Virus, and not by law enforcement. You have not conducted any illegal activity and the Metropolitan Police are not trying to arrest you so please do not be worried.
